The main areas of scientific interest include the synthesis, sintering, and investigation of high-entropy and refractory materials, ultra-high-temperature ceramic materials, and composites. Research focuses on the mechanisms and kinetics of physicochemical processes occurring during self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) and under rapid and non-isothermal heating conditions, as well as the synthesis of next-generation functional materials and the investigation of structure-property relationships.
